The Port Jervis-Middletown Bell Game
Friday, October 1st, 7pm
It’s the annual Bell Game between the high school football teams of Port Jervis and Middletown! Will Port Jervis retain the coveted bell trophy? Or will Middletown take it back? The action takes place at Glennette Field in Port Jervis.
Can’t make the game? Don’t worry! WDLC Country will be covering the game starting at 6:30pm!
Vernon Paws-a-Thon
Saturday, October 2nd, 9am-12pm
Bring your leased dog (must be well behaved, licensed and socialized) for a 5k walk at Maple Grange Park (Vernon, NJ) to support the Vernon Animal Shelter! There will be music, free doggie treats, and door prizes! Registration includes a training presentation by trainer and behaviorist Norma Overlook. If you don’t have a furry friend, but still want to participate, all are welcome!

Dogwood Acres Fall Festival
Friday – Sunday, October 1st – 3rd
It’s the start of the first annual Fall Festival at Dogwood Acres Family Farm in Middletown, NY! Every weekend in October will provide all the classic Fall fun, including hayrides, a maze, inflatables, and a petting zoo. And there are even special events each weekend like axe-throwing, corn hole, and chainsaw wood carving!
