It’s the first weekend of March and there are some great events and fundraisers going on! Make sure you don’t miss out and check out the details below!

Soup and Sandwich Social

Sunday, March 6th 11am-2pm

Sussex Fire Department Auxiliary’s Soup & Sandwich Social at 25 Loomis Ave. Sussex, NJ is dishing out some great options. They have ham, turkey, and grilled cheese sandwiches and all sorts of soups: Creamy Potato, Broccoli Cheese, Taco, Chicken Noodle, Chili and more! The $6 ticket includes a serving of soup and sandwich, and all proceeds benefit the Sussex Fire Department & EMS.

Spaghetti and Meatball Take-Out

Saturday, March 5th 4-6:30pm

If you’re in the Port Jervis, NY area and still want to eat good food whist supporting a good cause, there’s the Bi-Annual Spaghetti and Meatball Take Out event from Neversink Engine Company No. 1! Come to the firehouse at 27 Orange Street to get your meal for $8. It’s bring your own container, with free local delivery!

Irish Fest

Sunday, March 6th 1-5pm

Irish Fest is back in Monroe, NY! American Legion Post 488 is providing live music, Irish steppers, pipers, and a great Irish supper. And of course, what would Irish Fest be without beer?! Adult tickets are $25, kid tickets are $15, and kids under 4 years old come in for free.

PJ St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Sunday, March 6th 3-4pm

Join the Port Jervis community in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade! WDLC Country and WALL Radio will be there, along with local organizations, bands, and more! The parade route will take them from Orange Street onto Pike Street (uptown) right at Burger King, straight onto Front Street (downtown) to Jersey Avenue / Erie Depot. So don your best green clothes, bring some fold out chairs, and enjoy the parade!
