Art in the Park Day

Here’s a free outdoor, rain or shine, event that will bring out the artist in you! It’s Peters Valley School of Art’s Art in the Park Day in Layton, NJ! Enjoy fine craft demonstrations like blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers, fine metals, photography, printmaking, glass, weaving and woodworking. And don’t just see, do! There are hands-on art activities for adults, teens, and kids. Peters Valley Exhibition & Retail Galleries will also feature fine craft by over 300 artisans, and food and music will be available.

Pretty as a Postcard History Walk
Saturday, May 28th 10am-12pm
We all know and love High Point State Park. Join the Pretty as a Postcard History Walk to visit views memorialized in postcards during High Point’s early years, and see how things have changed and how they’ve stayed the same! The walk is 2 to 2.5 miles on mostly easy terrain (grass and pavement) but there will be a few up-hill portions as well. For adults and children ages twelve and up. Walk is free, but park entrance fees will be in effect.

Port Jervis Transportation Festival

It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally time for the opening of the Port Jervis Transportation History Center! The Transportation Festival features three days of displays, demonstrations, and celebrations at the Erie Turntable.

Dylan Fest 2022
Saturday-Monday, May 28th-30th, 12-5pm
If you’re a Bob Dylan fan, you need to get yourself to Dylan Fest. Three days of Bob Dylan cover artists at Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery! Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for kids ages 5-12 when bought in advance, but no outdoor food or alcoholic beverages are allowed.
