Eastern Pike Regional Police Department Hosts; Law & Leadership Academy

The Eastern Pike Regional Police Department is hosting a Law & Leadership Academy for 9th – 12th-grade young adults. This academy will be held from July 10th through July 14th at the Delaware Valley High School. This free program is modeled after the police academies that adults attend to be sworn police officers. Junior Cadets will be introduced to physical training and team-building activities. Cadets will learn firsthand from Federal, State, and local police officers, as well as, get a first hand look into different aspects of police work, including; patrol, investigations, K-9, Swat, aviation, and more.Applications may be obtained by going to www.eprpd.org or by calling 570-491-4040.
