Orange County Veterans Service Agency to Place Flags at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Preparation for Memorial Day
In honor of Memorial Day, the Orange County Veterans Service Agency will continue its annual tradition of placing American flags at every grave marker within the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Approximately 4,000 flags will be placed to ensure that each veteran is recognized for their service and sacrifice.
Joining the Veterans Service Agency will be student cadets from the Middletown High School Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC), who will assist in this important and solemn task.
This event is a powerful reminder of the true meaning of Memorial Day and offers the public an opportunity to witness local students honoring those who have served our nation.
