Garden Lover’s Club; Hidden Gardens Tour

The Hidden Gardens Tour June 24, 2023, is a self-guided tour of fine gardens at private homes in the Middletown, NY area. The gardens range from city to country and will provide inspiration for your own garden. Come and enjoy the creativity and considerable talents of the property owners who so graciously allow us to view their efforts. Gain inspiration from hardscape, sculptures, and plenty of flowers for butterflies, bees, and birds. Garden club hostesses will be at each home to answer questions on the day of the tour.
The Garden Lovers’ Club’s annual tour began in 1997 to raise money for scholarships, civic beautification and garden therapy programs which enable those in adult care facilities to enjoy gardening. Today, it raises money for these, and many other community projects run by the club.
The tour begins at SUNY Orange on the Library Veranda, where you will buy tickets and pick up your map and directions to begin your self-guided tour. Complimentary refreshments will be available. The plant sale and white elephant table are open from 9:00-4. Drawings for the raffle items and the door prize will be held at 2 p.m. Membership information will also be available.
